Materials:
one die,
coins: pennies, nickels, dimes,
quarters, half-dollars.
Have each child toss the die and take that many pennies from the
“bank.”
After each toss, a child may exchange the appropriate number of coins
for a single coin that equals the total value. (ex:
5 pennies for 1 nickel)
Continue to toss the die and collect coins until your 20-minute timer
goes off.
The child with the highest total of money wins. |
