Children
are at one end of the playground in a loose group. You or a child are at the opposite end of the playground with your back turned. You are a cat. Children sing and say :"Big A, Little A" (making themselves first as tall, then as small as possible). "Bouncing B" (skip, jump, on the spot) "Cat's in the midlle and can't see me." The children advance on tiptoe. Repeat the words and actions near enough for someone to touch the cat. Then the chldren all race home, the cat chasing and catching as many as possible. |
