Animal Tag

Children line up against the wall or along a designated line. Divide them  into groups of four or five animals. Mix the groups. The animal catcher then calls out the name of 1, 2, 3 or all the animals. All animals run to the other boundary line while the catcher tries to capture as many of the ones named as possible. Any of the animals belonging to the group called by the catcher and who are tagged, join up in the centre and the activity continues.
