Snow Day
The
children are happy about having the day off to take advantage of their
favorite winter activities: going to Kenogami Lake, Blueberry Hill, the
school yard and Kanasuta.
The distances they must travel to reach their destinations are one,
two, three, and four miles.
Each will.be bringing something to play with: a sled, ice skates, skis,
a top hat and lumps of coal.
Each will also wear a different type of headgear: a scarf, muffler, ski
mask, and ear muffs.
Combine this information with the children's last names:
Gingras, Joyal, Rigali, and Swinceux, and you'll be on your way to
finding out how they spent their snow day.
1. Joyal's headgear is made of fur, and she is pulling her play
equipment behind her with a rope.
2. Gingras' equipment is longer than he is tall.
3. The sledding hill is farther away than where Rigali goes, but not as
far as the ski slope.
4. Louis wears headgear most suitable for his activity.
5. Kanasuta is the only ski slope in the area.
