Basic Guide For Parents' Night

2. Introduce yourself and welcome the parents. 3. Give a brief overview of the subjects to be taught. 4. List the organizational skills to understand the course content. 5. Describe the methods you use to develop skills and how you incorporate them into your lessons. 6. Explain the nature and purpose of study courses, assignments and tests. 7. Explain the criteria you use to assess student achievement. 8. If you have difficulty expressing yourself, put 3 - 7 topics on paper, make copies and distribute them to parents. 9. Start on a positive note. Examples: "I have a good group of students". "I am delighted to work with your children". Practice if you are embarrassed. 10. Above all, do not scroll through a list of complaints about your students. |
