The Reports
section
lets the teacher see how the entire class is doing generally.
It will focus
in on how one student has done on several texts, and can closely
examine
a student's running record of a particular text.
In the example below we see the student's name, date of birth, age, school, teacher, text title and a comment on how the student read.
This is
followed
by error information and an analysis of the errors.
At the bottom
of the page we see the actual text with the words the student read
immediately
beneath. Errors are bracketed by asterisks.
This sheet can be printed and used to help a student develop reading skills by showing current ability, percent of errors made, self-correction ratio, and category of errors.
