standard deck of 52 cards
Make two packs of 26 cards. Be sure to notice the seventh card from each pile of 26 cards. In the video, the seventh cards are the Queen of Spades and the Ace of Clubs. Ask the participant to choose a pile. In the video, the participant chose the pile in which the 7th card was the Ace of Spades. Now tell the participant you will make three piles with your pack of 26 cards. These three piles will help you predict a card. Make these piles total 10. (Watch the video) The three piles show a 3, 8, 5. On the 3, place seven cards; on the 8 place 2 cards; on the 5 place 5 cards. (3 + 7 = 10), (8 + 2 = 10), (5 + 5 = 10) Place your remaining cards on top of the participant's pack of cards. Write down your prediction (in the video it is the Ace of Clubs) Total the visible cards (3 + 5 + 8 = 16) Count 16 cards from the participants stack. Turn over your written prediction...then turn over the 16th card. You are a great magician! Magic happens! Watch the video. |
